96 3.8 camaro would stall on acceleration. changed egr valve. seemed to fix problem. but now, once i hit 50 mph, the car starts stalling again. whats causing this?

How long has it been since you changed the fuel filter? If it hasn't been changed in years you will have the symptoms you are describing.

Have the same problem with the same car, ihad changed the fuel filter didn't help.(sorry for my english,hope you will uderstand)Went to a service,they told me that I have to change the sparking plug's and the wires.Did chaged the wires it worked good for about 4 week's now started again...Now i'm looking for better sparking plug's.

yea my 96 is a pain in the ass...my friend ran a diagnostic with a handheld and it gave m 2 error codes ....1 for a bad egr (valve) and the other for a MAF which sucks bc those are like 170 new anyway...my camaro was doing the same thing it would stall at 60 around there and it would sputter once starting and sometimes if i hit the gas too hard...turns out....96 camaros are only supposed to be used with low grade unleaded fuel.... and i was putting in 93 high...(call me a pioneer with those gas prices) then i stop using the high grade, bc of the cost, and it stopped stalling.,....just like that ;)
