The concept of superman was born in the 40's as a propiganda and moral feature. He was the ultimate fighting man to force onto the Germans and all soliders envied his strenght. The funny thing about fictional characters is that they can appear to be any age they like simultaneously. You can watch a superboy show in the morning, then a teenage super dude at lunch and another more mature superman in the evening. And in some movies, they all appear within the space of 2 hours.

That explanation is absolutely ridiculous. Superman was created in the early '30 by Jerome Siegel and Joshep Shuster. They were tryin´to sell his character, but they didn't manage to do it ´till 1938. Superman´s first appaerance was that year, on May in the first issue of Action Comics. In fiction, Superman is about 30-35 years old. Through the years, editors have been changing the continuity of all their characters (Superman belongs to DC comics, as Batman or Green Lantern), by using mini-series like "Crisis on Infinite Earths" (1986) or this year´s best seller "Infinity Crisis" where superheroes are "born again", in some sense.
