You might try your local newspaper online. Some larger cities have some great job search sites. Also, check http://www.jobbankinfo.org as it is a site used by national unemployment offices to help you find all kinds of listings in your area. Hope this helps!

All depends on what you do. CB is probably the WORST site I have ever used, both as a recruiter and a candidate. If you work in a particular field, or are looking in a particular field, there are most often job sites geared towards it. State job boards are sometimes helpful, again, dependent on what you do. If you live in the state of FL though, their website is once again, almost useless, both as a recruiter/candidate again.

If you join LinkedIn you can get a lot of good leads from there. Companies also post jobs on that site. You can also post jobs on Craigs List so that would be a good place to search too. There are many industry specific job sites. Yahoo hot jobs is another big search agent but I find it to be the worst of the big 3.
