The key is not to care. I rarely even look at my ratings. I have 43,636 points as I type this. I'm not going to worry about someone negging me, especially since it only affects the score for that question/answer, and doesn't take away from my overall points. Most of the time the people doing the downrating are new and can only hit you with -1 or -2 anyway, it's rare to get hit with a -5.

Actually, you have no idea who DRed you (AB does, but they won't tell). That's by design. AB removed WHO rated you LONG ago, because knowing it started a ratings war. See http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/249540 .
