Why does the media show the Israeli/Palestinian conflict? Who cares about the conflict?

Of course people care. Nearly everyone wants to see the violence stop. To show you how saturated the media is about this issue, for the second day in a row, National Public Radio (in the US), had a story about the possibility of Israel and Hamas sitting down to discuss the possibility of holding talks! What a stretch. You mean that there is nothing else in the world actually happening that they could find to cover?

Because it is an important conflict, what i want to know is why it is shown in such a biased light. The beeb clearly support Israel, and always 'forget' to mention that many more Palestinians have died than Israelis, by quite a margin... anybody?

Because it's a important segment of news. I personally dont care, from what i see the Israelis are the agressors here, the only reason why alot of people strongly side with israel is the biblical stuff.
