Recalling that the circumference formula = (pi)*diameter, or (pi)*2*radius, for a 10-foot round tank, you should be able to figure out the radius. Recalling that the area of a circle is (pi)*r^2 [^ = squared], you will then get the area of the circle. Multiply by the height (30) to get the volume of the cylinder in sq. feet. Then all you need to know is how much area a gallon of water displaces. I'm sure you can find this on the internet. (You may want to assume sea level.) Good luck!

What does "10 foot round" mean - round and 10 foot wide or 10 foot around? Some formula for volume of a cylinder are pi * r * r * h C * C * h / (4 * pi) So one of these will give you your answer: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=pi+*+5+feet+*+5+feet+*+30+feet+in+gallons http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=10+feet+*+10+feet+*+30+feet+%2F+%284+*+pi%29+in+gallons
