  • i hope not. wastes a good jacket when she could very well walk around
  • If you're really that stupid, you're not a man, you're something that never finished the evolutionary process. (not you, the idiot who would ruin his coat over something so little as a puddle)
  • If a guy laid down his jacket for me to walk over a rain puddle I would question his sanity and then I would probably dump him for being an obsesive nut.
  • I do not. I wonder if anyone really has or if that is a myth.
  • I've never heard of one that did. My boyfriend piggybacked me over like...a field of puddles once, but that's as close as I've seen.
  • Yes. The last one was Sir Walter Raleigh, in the 1600s. {Of course, that WAS for the QUEEN. lol} He later got beheaded for his trouble. :o)
  • No, but if there were no other way around and piggy back rides didn't exist, sure, why not? If your girl is worth a mere jacket.
  • I would wonder about the benefits of actually doing it... if the puddle is deep enough to actually go into the shoe of the woman, there is little that a jacket would do to protect the foot as the water would rush into the pocket from the edges of the jacket. If the puddle is small enough to be covered by the jacket completely and protect the foot, it's small enough to be stepped over. A helping hand for stability while she hops over it would be a kind gesture or making her aware of it before stepping in it and directing her around it would suffice.
  • I'd rather pick the woman up and carry her, than ruin my jacket. lol
