Do you make your bed on a regular basis? Would you if you could? Would you leave it messy if you could?

I hardly ever make my bed. I came from a house where I had to make my bed every morning. No problem there, except I'm the only one at home. When I get up, there are usually 2 or 3 pets still on the bed. I leave for work very early in the morning and come home very late at night. No one is there to see the un-made bed, so it seldom gets made.

There's really nothing to "make" anymore is there? These days I reckon most people have duvets (comforters). I just fold back the duvet to the end of the bed in the morning to air the bed and kill off any cooties, etc., and then I leave it like that all day/evening until I get into bed again that night. I also keep the windows open for as long as I can. I also air pillows ,which everyone should do, for the same reason as I've stated above. If you still use blankets, then I guess its more of a job.

I have a blanket and a comforter so it's not really that big a deal. But even though I live by myself I still do it-makes going to bed nicer, especially if someone ends up seeing it.

I never make my bed. I am in college, so it is not like I need to.

I make my beds 1 time a week when I change the bedding to be washed. I have never been big on making beds, seems pointless to me. I don't make my kids make their beds either unless we have company coming over then the beds are made.

I make my bed every time I get out of it ... I change and wash the sheets & pillow case every week too.

I make my bed every single day if I don't do it for some reason the house help will. It never fails. Regards.

No, I don't make it everyday. My husband is still asleep when I leave in the mornings. I did make it everyday before we got on these work schedules. I would again if I could.

I grew uo with my great grandmothers so that not an option for. So I do it everyday no matter what.
