  • Don't ask rhetorical questions. What do you expect from YOUR friends?
  • What a good question. By asking it, you are taking the first step, showing that you care. Much has been written and said on the subject, but a few main points stand out. The Bible tells us that a true friend is loving all the time and is better than a brother in the time of distress. Standing by your friends in time of trouble is key. Loving them and looking for their best interests is also vital. We're all imperfect and make serious mistakes. Forgiving and helping to overcome weaknesses is a sign of true friendship. A friend knows everything about you...and loves you anyway. So, for starters: Be loyal; be kind; be generous; be honest. Treat others as you want to be treated and you will be a better friend to everyone you meet--even your enemies. Hope this helps.
  • Never try to be someone that you are not, just be yourself.
