Chain link with razor wire and sniper rifles strategically positioned.
-
We don't have a fence we have a wall. It's painted white and, if I could afford it, I would have it demolished and replaced with natural stone.
-
I like wrought iron. (I have no fence now.)
-
I want wood fence. (the kind you see people fixing in movies that happen on a ranch) When I get one, and a barn, then I can finally get horses!
-
I have a 4 foot tall chain link around my back yard to keep stray dogs out.
-
I would like a white picket fence.
-
I want a white picket fence. That way the neighbors will not drive in our yard. I hate them.
-
As much as I wanted to put up a stockade fence I went with a chainlink fence. I don't want to have to replace the stockade fence every 10 or 15 years when the posts rot out. My neighbor hated me for it but that's OK, he's an a-hole anyway. :-)

Razor wire to keep out first nation freeloaders.
-
I have a wood fence, works for me.
-
Four or Five foot tall chain-link or wrought-iron fence around our back yard (need at least on 4' wide gate by garage, and a 16 foot gate in the back for utility trucks to get to their lines - Hell, they cut DOWN three large pines someone had built under some lines to get to them) so we could let our dogs out to pee, poo and play all at one time rather than one or two at a time on long leashes. (Would be nice when it rains not to have to go out.) Don't really need one in front.)
-
We have a chain link fence...as long as there's a fence I'm not too picky!
-
We don't have a fence..if we did have one, i'd want something private yet classy.
-
I'd be happy with one around the whole back yard at least so the dog can run around free and unhindered. I never had a fenced in yard, but have had two medium to large sized dogs and always sorta pitied them for lack of freedom. Noticed I didn't mention type, but not a big deal to me. White picket is visually more appealing to me but the dog might like the view through through a chain-link one so I'll go that way.

The chain link fence goes up this summer.
-
I don't have a fence. I would rather have hedges or trees to line my yard.
-
If I could afford it, I'd go for two electric fences on either side of a moat. The moat would be filled with crocodiles. That'll keep those damn kids off my lawn.
-
We have a wood privacy fence.
-
standard metal but its better than nothing right??
-
No fences, just some marks on trees or some survey tape to mark where the property is. It's just the woods here:-)
-
The invisible kind. No fence at all.
-
Nothing for the front yard. The back yard has a cedar wood privacy fence on the sides 6 ft. high. We built it 20 years ago (replaced a few posts which didn't hold up the the wind through time.) At the back is a 4 ft. chain link with a gate. Need to look at the large green area before the next property (and let the kids out there to play.)
-
None...but I wish I did between me and my closest neighbor...I can't stand her!
-
No fences at all. I live in the country and there are acres and acres of woods behind the house. There always seems to be some kind of wildlife wandering around in my back yard. :-)
-
Concrete about 10 feet tall.
-
A traditional white picket fence.
-
We have a chain link fence.
-
a willow fence
-
A really tall one... for dog jumping purposes!
-
None, lol
-
o prefer sabers to epees or foils. the broadsword is the toughest fenceing tool around
-
maybe just a moat and drawbridge with alligators would suffice
