  • At least 5 mph over the limit.
  • My son did the math for me once. The amount over the speed limit I would have to go to make even a one minute difference on my trip to work is not worth the chance of a speeding ticket. I now set my cruise control for the exact speed limit and chill to the music.
  • I do if I see a cop. If I go slower, it attracts attention. If I go faster, I could get a ticket. I always try to maintain a "low profile".
  • Gee, I love the way you worded that question. Its like asking someone "when did you stop beating your wife?" I stay at or below the speed limit unless I accidentally pick up speed going down hill. You all can swear at me if you want. Driving has been part of my living for a good bit of my life and I've seen some horrible accidents over the years. That 5 mph can give you the split second to avoid the chain reaction in front of you.
  • As fast as possible without getting caught within safety.
  • When fuel climbed through the roof, I made a decision to drive slower to save fuel. I used to drive faster than the cars around me so I would not be in the middle of those clusters that seem to form at 65 mph. It was odd, but driving at 55mph, I still miss those clusters as they go by me and get in fron of me. I am also less tense when I get to where I am going. And damn if I don't stretch the miles on every tankful. Poking along rules now. Wish I had started doing it years ago.
  • I drive five miles under the speed limit. i am not in a hurry. i dont ride any bumpers. i allow for at least three vehicle spaces between my truck and the vehicle in front of me. i like to follow other trucks.
  • I like to drive as fast as I can, with the room permitted of course. I don't drive recklessly, but if I see a stretch of empty road, better believe I'm flooring it lol.
  • I usually do 5 over, but not more unless I have a reason for it.
  • I used to drive as fast as I safely could but now that I have a little more sense and I live a the city area now I drive +/- 5 mph.
