Try your local library. Mine keeps backissue magazines, even gaming ones, for around fifteen years. Otherwise I would look on ebay.

All gaming magazines have an official website where you can order back issues, I hears EGM and Gamepro even go back to their earliest years. Also, a lot of individual video game stores keep a whole stock of them, where people drop them off when they don't want them anymore. Places like EB or Gamestop won't have any, but private businesses usually do. I myself have tons of them, if ever anyone is interested. Have way too many and need to get rid of some.

retromags.com is terrible. It barely ever works, and if you accidently screw up a download, look out because it could lead to being banned FOREVER. that site is terrible.
