  • I don't know if you have them but many places have free clinics or health departments for those who have no insurance or money.
  • There are free resources in most communities. If in the US, look in the blue pages in your phone book for mental health services provided by the county or state. Find a church and talk to the minister,pastor or priest. Find a local support group. Also, there are other things that you can do that won't "cure" your depression but will help you manage it. Get yourself on a very routine cycle. To bed within the same two hour time frame each night 7 to 9 hours sleep and up within the same two hour time frame in the a.m. Get outdoors and go for a walk - even if for only 10 or 15 minutes. The sunlight is good for you and the fresh air and exercise will help oxygenate your blood and invigorate you. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies and drink water. Lay off sweets and treats and meats for a bit. They are harder for your body to process and digest and don't give as much back to you.
