I have no idea. I think there are many good reasons for a break. I generally take a break if I go out of town, or have had 'too much'. I don't think you scare easily at all. I would never make an assumption as to why anyone takes a break. We all have different reasons. :)

What I think is......many people have been ran off AB by mean, vial people. So when someone leaves and doesn't say.....see you when I get back, or alone those lines, that's what some might assume. And when someone is cared about as much as you are fun, they try to come to your aid.:) Not because your scared, but because you're FUN!.....[[[hug]]]

The first thing that comes to mind is that the person is fed up with something, or burnt out. Maybe they are tired of the same kind of dogma being spewed in each and every question in a certain catagory, or tired of seeing how many ignorant people there are out there, or just plain burnt out from Real Life. I like to think they just get busy and put Real Life first for a while until they get back on top of it. I know I get tired of some of the content on here, and have to take a break to let myself calm down or forget about it.

Personally, I think it means life has gotten busy and AB isn't your first priority- and it shouldn't be, so thank youfor the courtesy to let us know you're heading out! To avoid issues, do you give a brief reason- "We're gonna be outta town" or somesuch? And I have no idea how easily you scare! Here, let's try something: "BOO!" Did I scare you?

There are two or three who I rarely see anymore, but I'm not going to assume that I intimidated them in any way just because we had a disagreement. I don't have that power, only they do. Everyone is in command of their own emotions, whether they command well or let their emotions run away is a matter of self maintenance.

No. You're from the east coast. I think you probably just get annoyed easily.
