  • I have never reminded anyone that they owed YOU money. :)
  • You could simply ask -- "When will you be able to pay me back?" If they don't know, you could ask them to start paying back in installments, and try to negotiate something they can manage and you can tolerate. Having said that, I'd brace myself for the loss.
  • pay up buttmunch
  • Pay up or I'm going to sue you for every cent you're worth...and then some. Having a law degree has it's benefits at times:)
  • I had a friend once who borrowed $800 from me, and then when I wanted it paid back, they were all "I dont feel like it" so I kindly sent them 2 letters, asking for them to pay it back by a set date. I got no response. So then I went to their parents & said "Do you realise your daughter has ripped me off $800? You can get it back, or I'm taking your daughter to court next week." And you know what? The money amazingly showed up in my account the day after I threatened court action! Moral: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LEND MONEY TO ANYONE!!!! (Unless you know some bikers who you can pay to go around & break their legs if they 'decide not to pay')
