    Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is a traditional martial art that originated in Thailand, as the name suggest. It is oftenly called Kick Boxing in the US, but the rules differ. In Muay Thai you can use (besides of your fists), your head, elbows, knees, and of course your legs (all of it) and feet to kick. The following video shows some Muay Thai knock outs.

    Muay Thai is known as the 'Art of 8 Limbs' as both the feet, fists, elbows and knee's are used to actively strike the opponent. The kicks are altogether more ferocious that kick boxing, and unlike kicboxing, a Thai fighter will strike with the bone of the shin which delivers a much greater force of impact. It's an extreme martial art in the way of power and speed.

    Well I studied Muay Thai for 8 years. My grade is red arm band. And yes there is Muay Thai Kickboxing Muay Thai Boran Krabbi Krabong and various other aspects of the art. That is common knowlegde to those who are interested.
