A sheep will try and roll over, and often cannot get back up. They start to swell, and will die unless rescued. Cows at least get back up.

Cows provide good, healthy food like milk, beef, and I even (by accident) had cows feet before. However, Sheep is a great song by Pink Floyd. Will go with cows. In that field with all them great cuts of beef just waiting to be sizzled and served, yet they live their lives as vegetarians. Reminds ya of the guy who works in the bottled water factory and is always thirsty.

Depends on the sheep or the cow. Some breeds of sheep are smarter than some; some individual sheep are smarter than others. I think my Shetland sheep are smarter than your average big white wooly sheep. They are a primitive breed like Soays, Icelandics, etc. Most can find their way home, fend off dogs. One could even go where I wanted before I knew where I wanted her to go. Plus, she could baaa the name "Miiiiike" which is my BF's name!
