Oh yeah. Not pretty. One was after they broke up and my friend was seeing somebody else. The other claimed the guy was "just a friend". I think they were both fair game, apparently the ladies in question did not agree. Meow!

No but one of my oldest friends has. She doesn't understand why I get pissed off when she dates my old boyfriends (most of whom I haven't seen and years and don't give a rat's ass about).

No. The closest I came is when half a dozen men ALL expressed to my friend their interest in her, I let her have her pick before (a good while later) ending up marrying one of the ones she didn't pick. She also married the one she did pick, so she never minded. I'm quite glad she didn't pick my husband, because it never would have happened this way for me if she had.
