i dunno.....i'm a huge PSP fan, myself....and they cost $170's and new PSP games cost $40 bucks.

I bought my DS Lite brand new for $130.00. Games can range from $15-30 bucks. (This was in upstate NY)

Typically the are priced at 129.99 for the system anywhere you go, although I did hear that Target had them on sale once for $119.99 but I did not see it for myself. New games are typically $14.99-29.99, but there are quite a few games you can get for ten bucks and a couple that are about $40. This is in Western Michigan.

In Massachusetts, the price of the DS Lite hasn't gone down since it first came out. It's still $130. Games can range from about $15 to $35.

Walmart had a sale last week in my area. They were being sold for $99. Games are sold mostly between $18-40, but there are some games that sell for around $50-60, depending on if they are a new release, or in high demand.

A Nintendo DS console is around $200 (Australian Dollar) and games are about $30-$50.

Nintendo sets one price for all their gaming systems--if the price goes down, watch for a new version to be released (playstation to playstation 2 to playstation 3: Gameboy to Gameboy Color to GBAdvance to DS to DS lite.........).

The console alone is 130, but there's a lot of special packs, like specifically coloured DS's that come with a game, headphones and all, at 170. Games are generally between 30 to 40.
