  • Verbal abuse is the deliberate act of undermining a person's self-worth by belittling them or scolding them incessantly. A fight ends and hopefully the parties involved make up and apologize. Verbal abuse does not end, and the abuser will never apologize. It is a method of domination and control that denies the victim dignity.
