Why is it that nowadays, band tours usually skip over Milwaukee, WI, when it use to be one of the usual venues for the great rock bands of yesterday?

My personal opinion as I myself am a Milwaukee native. We do not have large enough arenas to gather more of the great bands that have bigger fanbases. Smaller, lesser known bands however tend to get greater draw as we do have many smaller venues for a more intimate band experience. Just my opinion though!

Yeah it can suck that some bands don't stop in Milwaukee but you can not complain. We are home to the worlds largest music festival, SUMMERFEST!Besides that, Warped tour always makes a stop in Milwaukee if you are into that kind of music. Also if a band doesn't stop in Milwaukee they almost always stop in Chicago, just a short drive south.
