Who plays Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street?

    In the movie?

    Helena Bonham Carter. She also did her own singing voice, as did everyone else in the movie.

    On the stage?

    Countless actresses. Most known is the original, Angela Lansbury, who performed in 1979. The second best know is probably Patti Lupone, who did it in concert with George Hearn (I think that was around 2001 or so) and performed in a Revival on Broadway during 2005 with Michael Cerveris as Sweeney Todd.
