It's entirely possible. I have always been the type that draws women to me, but I never expect anything other then friendship. In my pre marital days, if I found someone I wanted for more than a friend... I had to go out of my way to show that I wanted more.. so that's where the poems and flowers and dating comes into the pic. With my friends, it's far more social, phones, emails, chat ect...

no! not at all! men are that incapable of being in such close proximity of a female without wanting sex that i think it should be made a law that all males MUST remain at leat 10 feet away from women at all times - unless married.

Yes of course you can. It is good to have atleast one friend of the opposite sex. Having girl friend gives you someone to take to about serious things, because come on us guys don't take about serious or relationship stuff to each other. Then for girls that guy friend can help you move something or fix something. Actually most girls I know don't like being friends with girls and have more guys friends then girl friends. I talk to some girl friends from time to time and most of them I never thought anything sexual toward them. I know some people that think you can't be really good friends with the opposite sex, but I think that is because they are only friends with people they find attractive and are a little shallow.
