What kind of disorder?
-
Im not sure if your friends not eating enough... or eating to much... but you should definately inform, someone like their parents or a teacher, because this person needs help. Your intentions are good, but they need professional help.

It depends on the disorder. We have an issue with purging in our family and in addition to getting them to see someone we also ensure that we are with them all the time after eating. Never leave them alone to give them an opportunity to purge.

If your friend is eating too much keep him away from the fridge. I your friend is not eating enough try to have him or her see a doctor as soon as possible, or to see a counselor.

the thing is that she has diabetes type 1 so its really serious and she needs to be careful what she eats more than anyone else. She has monthly checkups for hr diabetes and her doctors think something is wrong too. i just dont know how to help her, should i eat a lot in front of her so she knows its okay? or should i watch her constantly to make sure she eats lots?

I would talk to her. Be open and honest and tell her your concerns, whatever you do my advise is do not make her feel like you are attacking her. If she does have an eating disorder maybe the two of you can do some research so she can see that it is very serious. Make sure she knows she is safe talking to you and that you care about her and are talking to her out of concern. Good Luck!!
