It depends...in the summers here, it is so humid that we have to change our towels every other day because they don't dry out quickly and get smelly. When my mother lived in Arizona, she could use a towel over and over and over because it dried SO quickly. Also, I think it would depend on how clean you get yourself when you shower and how vigourous a drier-offer you are. On average, if you showered daily and sometimes twice a day? I would think every three or four days and maybe as little as once a week (at a minimum).

I use a fresh towel every time I shower. The reason is although your clean when you get out the towel when wet picks up dust quickly. it also has dry skin from toweling off so to me I just as soon get a fresh towel each time.

if you take 2 showers a day, use the same towel for the whole day. then the next day get a fresh one. etc =]

I use 2 towels when I shower. 1 for my hair and 1 for my body. The 1 I use for my hair gets hung the towel rod to dry and I use it the next morning for my body. The 1 I use on my body gets tossed in the hamper. It just skeeves me out to use a towel on your body more than once. I think of it this way. Even lysol doesnt kill 100% of all germs so what makes you think that washing your body kills 100% of germs. So when you dry your azz think of the chances of using that same area of towel on your face or va-j-jay or any body part EWWW. Just my opinion.
