  • No you are not the only one. However an interesting statistic I remember reading, 98% of all LV handbags are fakes!
  • You are not alone in thinking that. I think that also. The ironic part for me is that Moet Chandon Louis Vuitton own the company I work for, so someone paying that for a handbag indirectly helps keep me employed.
  • How crazy is this???? http://fashionesedaily.com/blog/2007/09/13/louis-vuittons-52500-limited-edition-handbag/ Isn't it the nastiest handbag ever seen? It's ugly !!! I could buy 3 full house brand new cars with that money!
  • The function of Designer items like that is not to contain things, it is to send a message saying "I Am Rich and Stylish". The ownere is advertising their ability to spend money that others would spend on houses and food on things that are fundamentally useless. It is the human equivalent of the peacock's tail or the stag's antlers.
  • Sounds expensive to me too.
  • Not only do I think it is ridiculous, I think it is obscene. There was a picture of Katie Holmes (yep, the one-and-only Mrs. T. Cruise) carrying a bag that is purported to have cost $26,000! That makes me want to throw up! People who spend money extravagantly on "stuff" need it because they don't feel "special" enough being who they are..so they buy that stuff to fill all the empty holes inside them..too bad...that money could be used to help others! :(
  • Yes that shit is rediculous its a lot of hungry people so feed them with that
  • It is beyond ridiculous...to borrow Rosie's word..it is obscene! Besides, you can buy one that looks better at Wal Mart...okay..it may not last as long but you could buy one every week cheaper.
  • My dad once said, "What's the point of buying a $2000.00 bag if all you have in it is $40.00, why not buy a $40.00 bag and place $2000.00 inside that one?" lol, he made me stop and think...
  • You're not the only one who thinks spending $500-$5,000 on a Louis Vuitton handbag is ridiculous.
