You're reading I drive a semi and recently got speeding ticket for 67 in 60.truck is governed and can not run that fast.clear driving record.what to say in court and also have black box in truck which states i was only doing 63

I understand that and you are right. Good point. I still think 7 mile over is a bit of a bitch. Is the cop right, sure. The trucker exceeded the speed limit, but in my view he's still a bit of a wanker.

of course if the officers dont write tickets ,his boss thinks he's not doing his job,so you dont write tickets to locals(they may be related to the judge) you write them to truckers most truckers dont have time to fight them

You sound like you have the inside track. Sounds totally logical. The same reason out of staters always get stopped on the interstate. I got one in Colorado last summer and I have no excuse. I have cruise control, but I usually keep it set at 10 over because one usually doesn't get a ticket unless more over than that. I'll be changing that habit!
