Why on Earth would anyone want to put a collection of stuffed animals in the rear window of their car?

Maybe to block their view to the rear? It seems that nobody in America ever uses the rear view mirror anyway... I like it even better when they have a real animal back there.

My sister did that with gingerbread men. She collected them and since her home was filled with the little boogers she just took it one step further and loaded up the car too.

They probably think it's cute or they're trying to make a statement of some kind. Like people who put Bibles in their rear window. They probably want people to know they're religious. Makes it hard to understand why they would take their holiest of books and expose it to excessive sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Yeah, that's dangerous, you block view so you can't see the vehicles behind you, and it's a problem when you want to back up.

I have often wondered this many times. Maybe they are taking them to goodwill? We sneak bagfuls out of the house whenever possible. Never thought to hide them out in the open...hmmm...
