Do you go to the beauty parlor or do you shampoo your hair yourself, and why or why not?

I like washing my hair myself. I don't view it as an enjoyable experience so I'd rather just get the haircut done and over with.........I guess I'm saying I don't like strangers hands on me and that also goes for message therapists ETC.

Well it needs to be washed every couple of days, I'm not going to pay for someone to do it that often. >.o If you mean "do i shampoo it myelf before i go to get it cut, or do i get it washed there" then, well, I haven't had it cut in a while. But usually i wash it myself.

I let them do it because if I do it then I have to dry and curl it before I walk out the door.

I do it myself because the beauty parlor would charge me an arm and a leg. I do go to the salon for haircuts though.

I shampoo my own hair. It would be too much money to pay someone everytime I needed it done.

I shampoo my hair myself, unless I am getting a haircut or coloring at the salon, then I let them do it. I love getting professional shampoos.
