I have been buying and making model cars for the last 48 years and still make them today ...I find it a great way to spend time making something that looks great in the end and if you can modify them ..even better

i buy them as well not only because i have too much time on my hands or anything like that.i buy them just because i love doing them and it helps keep me out of trouble.

I buy amd build model car because I can't afford the real things and it's good to have a collection of your favorite cars in scale form, besides what wrong with it at least the money is not being smoked or drank away and wasted with the family being abused.

Yes - and I do buy them. they are an excellent hobby - relaxing and gratifying when a project is completed. I have encouraged my kids to also buid them and they have. It leeps them out of trouble, it teaches themn to be creative and it teaches them that through patience, you can accomplish good and rewarding things. It also teaches that you get out of something only what extra effort you put into it.
