It is ugly, but it does not rear it's ugly head very often. I know when she is wanting to come out, I try not to leave the house for a day or so. I have lost friends because of my ugly side. :(

Yes. I catch it when I'm muttering about things, and when people upset me and I'm thinking horrid thoughts about them, or just calling them names under my breath.

i think the most important thing to remember about our dark sides, is that they are personal. They are feelings that make you feel unlike yourself, as if something uncontrollable takes over. And similar to pain, they can't be compared. Everyone has a dark side, but what makes it their own is what makes them so different. And not knowing what causes another persons, or even what triggers you own, is the isolating factor that makes them so frightening.
