What type of paper do you prefer while writing in a journal?

Soft pastels that are easy on the eyes, and soothing to the spirit.

Lined and off white so I'm not blinded by the paper

Either cream smooth glossy paper, or vellum.

Blank Cartridge paper - the sort that comes in those black plastic covered Art notebooks. It just has a nice feel to it, and it's only a slight touch more expensive than normal paper.

Thick, lined paper with plenty of space between the lines, because I have big, messy handwriting. Gold or silver edging is nice, too, but not required.
