3 months ago I called every dentist within 50 miles from my home and could not get an appointment for 2 weeks or more the pain got so bad and my right side of my face swelled up I walked into a dentist office and told him I was not leaving until he stopped the pain he took one look at me and took me straight back and pulled it. Here is the funny part the dentist name was Dr Pain.

I've only ever had one once, and that was about 3 years ago. It turned out not to actually be a tooth, but rather an infection in my jawbone. But, the tooth was what hurt, and prompted the xrays that found the problem.

About 27 years ago when a filling came out of a molar. When the dentist re-drilled the molar, that was the worst pain I had in a tooth.

Every waking minute. I don't have any dental problems however. I am diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia which is a neurological condition and it can feel like stabbing pain to a dull throb and I feel this pain every second that I am awake. My fighting spirit is what keeps me going on. Info: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/trigeminal-neuralgia/DS00446

Next time you do suck on some ice, use oil of cloves, rinse with salt water, or even hold a swig of whiskey over it.
