I'm a singer, but I'm also an actress. I've done a few movies, including one recently.

We are all actors in a way, but to be a 'professional' actor ? sure. But only for the art itself - not to be famous. If fame happens so be it. The joy of being first rate Actor Having people truly believe you ARE who you're portraying; is a kinda magical thing...
Thats why some of my favorite actors are rarely seen in the 'limelight' Like Anthony Hopkins and Jeremy Irons. They live quiet unassuming lifestyles. Yet are Terrific actors...They've honed their art in on stage Theater as well as movies,yet shy away from the spotlight.

I think we are all actors. We put on a different performance depending on who's company we are in. You act one way with your boss, a different way with your co-workers, again a different way with your husband or wife and children. So in that sense we are already actors.

Nope. I prefer being behind the camera as a Director. It would certainly be helpful if I could act since I would be able to show my actors how I wanted the scene played. But I don't like being in the spotlight. I like my privacy. I would not do well for long as an actress because all the attention would drive me out of the business! :) Happy Saturday! :)
