Yes I would. I love working in the medical field

I would. I know lots of people are afraid of them (including me), but despite that, it's still a very prestigious profession. Doctors are indispensable in any society. I believe societies can survive without lawyers, actors (among others), but they can't survive without people who are in the field of medicine.

I'm squeamish, so no. Although I do think it is an admirable job and that more people should probably get into the profession. (I'm thinking medical doctor here. Not like an anthropologist or something.)

Probably not. Im not that greedy on the one hand... nor am I that much into self sacrifice either. So all around, for me, that would be a lose, lose situation for all involved as there is nothing quite as frightening as a doctor with an attitude problem. I will do my part in life by the keeping, sharing and preservation of the worlds great treasures on a small, private level.

Not a medical doctor, but I'd love to be a doctor in my field (physics)

If I'd got the marks for it last year, who knows. I'd love to do such an important job. Both my mum and my sister went into nursing, so I was thinking about giving that a go for a bit. But now I've pretty much just chosen random courses to apply to, and I'll hope for the best.

Wow. All I can say is that I personally did not go into it for the money. I work for the VA, and get a lot of satisfaction out of helping veterans.

ANYONE can be a doctor if that's what they really wanted, it just depends on how much you want it and how hard your willing to work to reach that goal...
