I've took paxil for five years and I quit five days ago. two days after I quit I got lasting head aches and I still feel somwhat sick and dizzy here and there throught the day and my depression came back but I'm using marijana it helps :(

I was happy all of the sudden. Paxil for hormonal issues. I am one of those few people who was worse on them than off. I gradually quit, but I felt dizzy and like I was being shocked (like when somebody touches you after they have dragged their feet on carpet and built up a "charge"). It sucked. Luckily it passed quickly.

Like with all antidepressants, you need to taper off them. Cut down gradualy or you will get WD's
Why the manufacturers of the AD's say there's no withdrawals is beyond me!!!! The WD's aren't horrible, they're more kind of whacky. I suddenly stopped taking Sertraline (Zoloft) My emotions went nuts LoL I would one minute be overwhelmed with happiness and the next I'd be crying into my tea and crumpets. I actually enjoyed the whole experience. I had to go back on them because my O.C.D kicked in again. That's what I took them for in the first place you see?
