I know my friend is taking oxycotin and she has a drug test tomorrow. She said that the drug test to be performed is only testing for opiates and since she is perscribed percoset that the test cannot define which opiate is in her system! Is this true? Do they have to give her a different test to find out which opiate she is taking?

to answer the question. Some place will perform test for oxycodone and opiates . In very high concentration oxy will show up as opiate. Reference http://www.meditests.com

Yes, but if you can get a doctor to give you a script for vicodin, you might be able to 'pass' it...
