This is kind of embarrassing to admit, but as you know we moved in mid-November, 2007 and the pictures are still sitting on their sides against a couple of walls...why, you ask? It just seems that so many other things have needed attention "first". One day we will hang them, of course..they consist of a beautiful Unicorn my sister painted for me many years ago, many other pictures of Unicorns, most of which were given to me by my son..a great pencil drawing of my son and me done at Disneyland when he was about 6 (I treasure that so much). What's on your walls, MM? :) ((hugs))

We have a mix of framed art and decorative mirrors. Above our mantle, we have a large framed print that brings together the main colors of our room, tan, red, yellow and brown. http://www.stylish-living-room-ideas.com/framed-wall-art.html On the wall that shares our main window, we have a small framed print with white lillies. The frame really stands out here. It's a thicker bronze frame with very nice ornamentation. Sophisticated, yet still casual. Opposite the mantle we have a framed mirror that is one of our favorites. The border is huge with gold and bronze ornamentation on the outside, a leather band and more ornamentation on the inside. Not fun to hang but it's great to look at and goes perfectly with our decor. http://www.stylish-living-room-ideas.com/decorative-wall-mirrors.html
