  • possible problems: Faulty Ignition Module or coil pack?
  • As a Test, take a can of Starting Fluid with U & when it stops give it a shot. If it starts, Fuel System suspect. If not Pull Plug Wire & check for Spark. No Spark, Ignition System / Alarm System suspect.
  • If it's stalling, it's probably an issue in the ignition/firing system. But don't forget to check the fuel pump or fuel filter--if there's a problem with either of these the car will conk out. You might try running the car without the gas cap to see whether its suffering from vapor lock, but that's something more common with much older vehicles.
