In my opinion, I believe it is. Because you can have all the luxury in the world, but if you are not content enough to enjoy it, then it isn't worth anything.

Contentedness is natural wealth but luxury only leads to jealousy, vanity and greed. Once you are satisfied with what you have you won't do mean and evil things to get more. I believe in the African proverb which says "No amount of food can cure hunger for ever" Meaning no amount of luxury can make you happy for ever but once you are contented you feel happy with the little you have. So in my opinion contentedness is better than luxury.
