  • I had the same problem and all it was is that a fuse inside the tv blew. The guy who fixed it took the back off the tv replaced the fuse in less than 15 seconds and I was watching tv again. I didn't see where it was but it had to be very easy to get to as he did it so quickly. I hope this helps you a little.
  • always post your model number!!! the non-stop blinking tells us the DM module will not reset, several things can cause this & all can be repaired by a good servicer
  • To stop the light from blinking just unplug the TV. In all seriousness, first unplug it. TVs use power all the time. Not much when they aren't on , but some. Sometimes (not always) when you unplug an electronic device and give it time for the capacitors to discharge (20 minutes is more than enough time), duff (technical term) components will sort themselves out. The more ICs in the set, the better chance this has of working. Hopefully it's as easy as prcab said and it's just a fuse. If you don't mind voiding the warranty, go ahead and open the sucker up and take a look. This avenue is not recommended if you don't know what a fuse looks like. Last but not least... RTFM (read the freakin' manual). There is usually a section near the back titled "Troubleshooting" or some such. It just might have the answer you're looking for. Who knows it might even tell you where the fuses are. Hope this helps.
