  • No lie, my ex-roomate used to use a q-tip to cover them with toothpaste, let it dry, and then clean with a tissue by wiping from the inner ring out to the edges. It always seemed to work with his PS2 and XBOX games.
  • You can't get the scratches off, but there are things you can do to make them usable. Toothpaste works great for this. Rub a little toothpaste and water over the disc and massage it in. Then rinse it off with water and dry it with a lint-free cloth. There are also commercial disc-fixers that you can buy.
  • Go to Circuit City or Best Buy. You can buy a disk cleaner/repair kit that gets the scratches out. There are manual and electric ones. the electric ones work much better.
  • use toothpast
  • Use tooth paste the gel kind is the best dap a little on in the middle... just do whatMG1942 says
  • There are some catalogs that sell a little pen that fills up the scratches. Or, there is a machine that does this that costs around $1000. Try Best Buy.
