Can anyone reccommend a good online school? Would it be best to just take online classes from a nearby college?

Phoenix seem to be a good school. I have not tried them though, I just see so much advertisement at many places.

University of Illinois Springfield has a great online program!

KAPLAN UNIVERSITY is one of the best online programs you can take. I am getting my bachelors in Kaplan and I don't regret going to Kaplan. You learn so much, they offer tutors and have a writing center that can help you with your papers before you turn them in to your instructor. Go for it!

Since I have some experience with online schools, I would recommend you to go for Stevens-Henager College. Their Accredited online degree programs are designed to offer the best of a traditional classroom with the convenience of studying at your own time, pace and place. There is constant access to the curriculum available and interaction between the faculty and students is encouraged. Just opting for a few online classes from a nearby college is neither here nor there, I think. A good accredited online program is as recognized in the job market today as a traditional degree.
