The U.S. Congress (also known as "The House") has 435 members. Each member represents one congressional district. The entire country is divided into congressional districts, so that each congressional district has about the same population. (It's not quite this simple: each U.S. state is guaranteed to have at least one congressional district regardless the population). Every 10 years, after the national census, boundaries of congressional districts might change to account for changing population. A member of congress serves 2 years, there are congressional elections in November of even numbered years. Find out about your congressional district here: http://www.house.gov/Welcome.shtml
