I glued them on glass jars like stained glass to make vases. I also used some to make a mobile by curving wires into different shapes and then gluing the silk onto them. After they are all glued, hang them from colored sticks with colored thread.

I have a jacket made with some. I didn't make it myself but I sure get a lot of nice comments when I wear it.

You could make a set of Yo-Yo's and put them on hats, blouses, pillows, edge of lamp shade, etc. I put some on a skirt.

Make a hot air balloon! But I think you would need more silk than just some scraps. Hopefully you wouldn't have a balloon's worth of silk scraps!

I use my tiny scraps to make lavender sachets...fold it up, sew around 2 sides, turn right side out, fill with lavender, sew the last side, add a sweet little rose or button on top...& taaaa-daaaaaa, a little sachet! You can even sew in a little ribbon hanger if you wish & hang it on a hanger with your clothes, on your rear-view mirror in car, by your kitty litter box, in a drawer of undies....anywhere! They also make great gifts & I sell mine of ebay & etsy!!

You can cut them into strips, sew the strips together and braid them. Sew the braiding together to make a braided rug.

Doll clothes, or a braided rug? Otherwise you must quilt or patchwork them to make a piece large enough to use for something else.

Make crazy patchwork purses. They look delightful. Also you can fold and scrunch some of the pieces of fabric to look like roses or flowers and sew them on. Cheers!

How about zillions of small wadded ornaments, for instance stars? After using them for decorating your Christmas tree you can turn them into an all-year-round decoration. Ideas: 1. sew them onto fabric (and make your quilt, after all) 2. attach metallic or coloured threads to them, hang them on a curtain rail and decorate your window or your wall.

My favourite idea would be to sew all of the scraps together to create one large piece of fabric then proceed to make a skirt, decorator pillows or whatever you would like. Aww! Now I want to make one too!
