How do they take such beautiful pictures of aeroplane in the sky? Is it really flying?

they fly beside it in another plane and shoot pictured out the window.

Some pics in magazines and many in the calenders were shot from a B25 bomber. The photographer sat where the tail gun position was. He had an unrestricted view of the following aircraft so he could get head on, 3/4 and side shots from one position. And yes, he was well strapped in!
