Do you think chip and pin is as safe as the banks and outside companies say it is or would you prefer to go back to the old signature way of doing things?

I think those technologies are safe. I remember the first time I used a pin was in 1976 in college with my ATM card and 32 years later I have never had a problem with my pin or ATM account. That seems to me pretty safe. I remember my first ATM card was with BayBank out of Cambridge Mass. I don't know if they still exist. They had a green logo.
