Er... no. There's far too much inorganic material to be considered an organism. I do consider the surface of the earth to be inhabited by a network of organisms dependent on one another, though.

Some ancient Greek and Roman philosophers wrote that this universe is a living being. There is a society in USA which says that the earth is a living being. I have read one book published by them.
