I believe so. I mean, there's got to be some camels still out in the wild, aren't there? Even if people say there aren't any camels out there, we still can't be sure, unless we check every single place in the world to make sure there aren't camels...right?

I think they were always domesticated.

Yes, however there are no more wild Dromedary camels left in Africa and the middle east. There are feral Dromedaries roaming the Australian outback however. Wild Bactrian camels still exist in Central Asia.
