Have you made arrangements to take care of yourself when you become very elderly, and ill? or do you feel that would be your childrens duty?

Both i beielve...my mom and dad took care of themselves when they got older...but their kids were around them at all times. I hope the same would happen to me.

No I haven't but im 32 and my kid is 1. It would seem like it should be the childs duty. But you know parents only have to take care of their children for 18 years. So what if you have to take care of the elderly parent for 40 years. Doesnt seem fair does it.
